Job Details: Surf Programs Manager

The successful candidate will be based at WGIM, Houston, and will report directly to the Integrity and Reliability Engineering Manager.

Job Description

To lead the Subsea Umbilical Riser and Flowline (SURF) department.

Responsible for leading integrity management projects for subsea O&G systems

(pipelines, TTR, SCR, flexible pipes, umbilicals, Xmas trees, manifolds, structures,

control systems), including interface management with clients and cost control.

Cost control and project management of projects exceeding $500K US, including

developing and facilitating Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments of subsea

equipment and developing periodic reviews and fitness assessment of the

equipment.

To ensure the satisfactory performance of Subsea Integrity work on all projects /

operations contracts.

To Liaise with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces.

To support the growth and development of the Subsea Integrity business area.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Subsea Engineering industry;
• Minimum 3 years of Flexible Risers Technology Experience, including risk and

mechanical integrity

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials or related area.
• Deepwater technology will be a plus
• Mandatory fluency in English. Conversational Spanish preferable;
• Experience managing teams.

Demonstrate experience on:

• Cost control and project management of projects;

• Integrity assessment methods;

• Developing and facilitating subsea Hazard Identification;

• Subsea systems Risk Assessment / Integrity Management;

Periodic reviews of inspection and monitoring plans and fitness assessment for

supporting subsea Integrity Management and Strategy recommendations;

• Developing standards and procedures for supporting the Integrity Management

Systems;

• Inspection planning and application of inspection and monitoring techniques for

subsea systems;

Publication of Technical papers in recognized international conferences.
