Job Description
We are seeking a degreed petroleum engineer with 20 plus years experience in Flow Assurance, Production Engineering, and Modern SubSea operations.
Reports to the Production Manager
Monitors production of wells on a daily basis and makes changes to maintain or increase production rates including troubleshooting of any production problem areas.
Provide specialist technical support for multiphase flow and flow assurance work across all assets
Work closely with Process Engineers to generate best operating practices and identify potential risks/gaps.
Develop and maintain effective liaison with other functions such as Drilling, Operations, and the Subsurface Team.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
Provide support to ongoing operations on matters relating to production optimization and flow assurance including diagnoses of problems and recommendation of solutions.
Good working knowledge of key production activities including but not limited to the following :
Multiphase flow simulation and system design
Dynamic simulation of single phase and multiphase flow in pipelines
Wax prediction and management
Hydrate prediction, mitigation, management and recovery techniques
Behavior of other solids in flowing systems and methods and equipment for handling solids
Gas Lift
Topsides process optimization
Fiscal metering and allocation
Provide technical assurance for the company by reviewing the work and design solutions from engineering consultants and contractors.
Establish and maintain a knowledge network for Production Engineering to ensure that key lessons from projects and ongoing operations are disseminated through operations.
Develop information and oral presentations to equip relevant teams within the client organization with the level of awareness of they need to properly perform their own work.
Position Requirements
Candidate should have a Petroleum Engineering Degree.
Candidate should have at least 20 years of experience in Flow Assurance, Production Engineering, andModernSubSeaoperations;
