A major Oil & Gas Operator requires two Senior Well Engineers to join their team on a permanent residential basis in Kuwait.
Purpose This is a key leadership role ensuring the provision of high quality well engineering input into well projects in support of field development and asset reference plans, and subsequently managing the safe and efficient execution of resulting well programs by the rig teams under his/her supervision.
Requirements - possess at least a higher education Diploma (eg. HND or equivalent), but preferably a Bachelors Degree or higher, in a technical or engineering subject. - have previous experience of working in multi-disciplinary team environments. - have extensive (more than 12 years) experience in Well Engineering, - Design and construction supervision of gas wells (must) - Operations in H2S environments (must) - Recent working experience in Middle East cultures (preferred) - Evidence of successfully working in or with NOVs, JVs and NOCs in a multi-cultural environment - Proven technical, commercial and negotiating experience (define, tender, negotiate and award well engineering contracts) - Proven track record in improving bottom-line through well engineering improvement initiatives
