Job Details: Senior Piping Engineer

Job Description

Aker Solutions office in Gothenburg is focusing on development and delivering advancedstate of the art subsea systems on depths down to 3000 meters. We are driven, young and highly competent team and our goal is to attract more of the best engineers to participate in Aker Solutions’ global engineering network.

 Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Develop piping systems and prepare piping documentation in close cooperation with designers and lead engineer in subsea projects.
• Perform pipe stress analysis with consideration to extreme environments and conditions due to subsea installation.
• Prepare design-, fabrication and testing documentation.
• Participate in testing activities on fabrication sites together with customers and fabricators.

Education and Experience:

• MSc or equivalent  degree in Engineering within Mechanical or Piping
• 3+ years engineering experience, preferably from piping stress analysis
• Good knowledge of piping design codes
• Strong design and engineering skills 

Personal Qualities:

• Ability to work in teams as well as independently
• Be structured in his/her daily work.
• Excellent communication skills (both in Swedish and English)
