• Work closely with the Petroleum Regulatory team to ensure delivery of excellent performance within required timeframes
• Monitoring compliance with existing regulatory requirements, and identifying new and emerging requirements
• Develop and maintain management tools, processes and procedures to support regulatory function in oil and gas production operations
• Provide technical competence regarding computer software tools to facilitate effective communication and awareness materials are developed as required.

•Develop on-the-job awareness of the relevant legislation, regulations, standards, company procedures, health and safety aspects, and industry best practices
•Assemble and file detailed, technical documents to specification as regulatory submittals. •Develop and maintain schedule of compliance actions and insure information is obtained to meet filing requirements within deadlines.
•Requires knowledge of CFR 29, 30, 33, 40, and 46. •Compile weekly and monthly reports and monitor completion of pending items; assist with action tracking efforts as appropriate. •Assist in the preparation of briefing documents and presentations to management and agencies
•Work independently to research, gather and summarize supporting documentation on various topics as required. •Assist with organizing and coordinating technical meetings, workshops, and awareness sessions, including agency meetings.

Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher preferred
•HSE & C experience, in oil & gas production operations is a plus
Experience & Technical Competencies:
•Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
•Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office; ability to learn company specific applications. •Excellent reasoning, analytical, technical and research skills

Basic Purpose:
