The essential purpose of project risk management during the project execution phase is to improve the project performance via a systematic and iterative process designed to identify, analyze, evaluate, and treat project related risk elements. As project risk advisor/manager you will be responsible for the following:
Establishment of a project risk management plan in accordance to FMC project risk management process
Supporting the EPC projects in developing and maintaining the project’s risk register based on proven methodology
Facilitate risk workshops and review meetings
Monitor and control that risk response strategies are implemented in a timely manner
Continuously evaluate if selected risk response actions are suitable and effective, support with detailed risk analysis when required
Ensuring that projects work according to FMC Project Risk Management procedure and guidelines – assist in Stage Gate Reviews
Coordinate and participate in risk evaluations and development of mitigation plans, monitor and report risk status during project execution
Risk summary from projects to portfolio level and presentations to end Customer in monthly meetings
Perform risk management training as required
Create a project risk management close out report with lessons learned
Preferred qualifications and personal skills:
Relevant education as Engineer/ graduate engineer or Economics/Business administration
Good communication skills, feel comfortable with presentations to audience
Structured and cooperative
5-10 yrs. experience from oil-and gas industry or related business is preferred
Experience in risk management and/or project control functions
Team player and energetic, with the ability to generate results working both in a team and alone
Commercial skills and experience including good understanding of the basic principles within cost, planning and project performance
Proactive- and resolution oriented mindset and continuous improvement
Fluent in English
