The Projects department based at Arnhem in the Netherlands is responsible for the projects activities for FMC Separation Systems and employs at the moment 10 Project managers.
We are now looking for a Project manager to strengthen our Projects team. This position will be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
You will work in an international environment with highly experienced colleagues. The Project manager is an excellent position for a motivated candidate, with a Bachelor Mechanical engineering degree and 3 years of relevant experience in engineering or 2 years of experience as project manager, aiming for a career in a leading international enterprise. Typical work tasks include, but are not limited to, the following
● Responsible and accountable to execute projects. ● Responsible for project spending in relation to the budget, in accordance with work instructions. ● Establish, update and implement project plans and schedules, and monitor and report progress in accordance with Contract requirements and work instructions. ● Monitoring, delegating, planning and progress surveillance of the assigned projects. Specifically ensuring on time, efficient completion of projects. ● Organizing, preparation and review (where necessary) of all required project documentation, drawings, design calculations, according to the appropriate codes, standards and specifications as defined by Client requirements and the company quality system / procedures / work instructions. ● Responsible for project related procurement activities in accordance with company work instructions. Review of sub-supplier(s) pricing, technical suitability and capacity prior to order placement. ● Quality acceptance inspections at the appointed sub-supplier(s). ● Prompt resolving and/or initiating actions on all customer queries regarding the assigned projects. ● In conjunction with the Document Controller and Financial Department the acceptance of Letter of Credit’s and issuing negotiable documents for the Letter of Credit’s. ● Coordinate installation supervision activities in cooperation with the Supervisor. ● Maintain customer relations and provide after sales services. ● Responsible for continuous quality improvement of products, documentation and processes. This includes the prompt completion of the relevant quality documents. ● Technical and commercial support for sales department.
