Job Details: Project Lead Engineers

Main Accountabilities: 

• Determine requirements prior to project kick-off ensuring early definition
• Primary technical interface to customer.  Responsible for technical presentation and instruction
• Control of resource requirements and multiple resources throughout the project
• Deliver project on time to milestones and within budgeted hours
• Deliver project scope in compliance to specification, standards and Engineering Execution Process
• Maintain Engineering schedule and manage all technical change to mitigate execution risk
• Manage Variation Orders to protect or improve margin
• Manage Engineering Change Requests as required and approval of ECN’s on all project equipment
• Control of product design including design review and approval
• Manage product validation and verification
• Review of project quality notifications and raise non-conformance reports as necessary
• Provide input to field project risk assessments
• Oversee System Integration Tests    

  Experience, Qualification and Skills: 

• Substantial post graduate experience as a senior or lead engineer
• Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to lead and supervise a project engineering team
• High level of system design, installation and operational awareness
• Extensive product knowledge
• Skilled in risk management and mitigation
