Aker Solutions office in Gothenburg is focusing on development and delivering advancedstate of the art subsea systems on depths down to 3000 meters. Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:
In cooperation with designers and lead engineer prepare Assembly & test procedures for new subsea products such as Tie-in systems, Christmas trees and Manifolds.
Responsible for technical execution of her/his professional area on behalf of the Lead Engineer. This includes design, fabrication, testing and documentation.
Provide Lead Engineer with technical input relevant for procurement department.
Can replace Lead Engineer in certain special situations.
Participate in Design Reviews within his/her product area.
Participate in external meetings with clients, installation contractors and other stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Theoretical: B.Sc. in relevant engineering discipline
3 years engineering experience, preferably with products for offshore and subsea applications.
Persons not having relevant theoretical qualifications must have minimum 6 years practical experience as described above.
Personal Qualities:
Excellent communication skills (both in Swedish and English).
Good analytical skills in order to verify calculations and analysis.
Ability to work in teams as well as independently
