Aker Solutions’ Tie-in and Structures team, based at Fornebu, is responsible for delivering Subsea structures and tie-in systems that meet operators’ requirements for easier, quicker and more flexible solutions for both installation and operations. We need individuals with background from mechanical engineering, structural engineering or piping who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Subsea market.
We are looking for: Products and Tecnology Engineer
Responsibilities and tasks
• Work in Tie-in & Structures – Products & Technology group • Participate in engineering work in projects and R&D. •Work closely with Product responsible engineers. • Establish and maintain procedures, hand calculations and engineering documentation • To some extent, work with Solidworks CAD models and drawings • To some extent, participate during physical testing.
Qualifications & personal attributes
• M.Sc or B.Sc-Students, ready for their final year of education • Practical engineering experience is preferred, not required. • Be independent, show initiative and be structured in his/her daily work
