LOCATION: Houston and Designated Field Locations

TRAVEL:  Houston/Shore Base & to and from Contractors’/Vendors’ Depots

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide procurement services including writing contracts that will include writing contracts, and the procurement of services and materials.  Responsible for the proper execution of contracts that are aligned with approved agreements with vendors and service providers.

PRIMARY POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Job Description:

• Develops contract strategies and leads Vendor good and services negotiation efforts.
• Establishes contracts and ensures consistency of contract administration throughout all VENDOR packages.

• Establishes and ensures consistency for the procurement function throughout all VENDOR packages.
• Manages and supervises the preparation interpretation standardization and implementation of contracts.
• Review prepared contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and the inclusion of company standard terms and conditions in accordance with the regulations and ethics.
• Checks and ensures all tender procedures and activities pursuant to established Rules and Regulations to ensure smooth and adequate tenders.

Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited university with a minimum five 5 years of relevant experience in the oil/gas industry.
• Functional knowledge SAP module used in procurement / purchasing and managing contracts.
• Experience on oil/gas- and/or petrochemical operations and maintenance contracting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contracting practices, procurement practices and principles applied by major oil/gas companies.
• Experience in composing and managing major contracts.
• Ability to travel in the Gulf Coast Region
