Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Certifications in API, ASME or other standards are a plus

Experience

  • Eight years engineering experience with proficiency in design and analysis of tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping and other fixed equipment, as well as specific experience with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code
  • Experience with API-510, 570, 653, ANSI and ASME codes
  • Providing support to plant preventative maintenance program for fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, relief devices, tanks, critical valves, etc.
  • Maintaining and improving plant reliability by identifying/correcting bad actors, conducting root cause failure analysis, meeting mechanical integrity requirements and implementing preventative/predictive maintenance programs
  • Extensive reliability experience leading failure analysis programs for fixed equipment such as FMEA
  • Project management, standards development, contracts administration and new technology development or research
