Job Details: Mechanical Completion Coordinator

Description

Aker Subsea at Tranby is now looking for a person to the position as Mechanical Completion Coordinator, MC Coordinator. The MC Coordinator is responsible for coordinating MC activities within the Work Package, between interfacing AKS Sites, Contractors, Work Packages, QC in manufacturing and QS representing suppliers.

Typical work activities for a MC Coordinator would be

·      Analyse contract and project specific MC requirements and plan MC work scope in Product Area

·      Coordinating between TTMC In-process inspections, final Inspection and additional MC inspection activities

·      Assisting MC Inspector and Project Engineer in performing Final MC on equipment due to delivery schedule from local AKS site.

·      Maintain the electronically MC system in SAP.

·      Provide and follow up documents from supplier.

·      Update and maintain the local delivery and MC status

·      Cooperate with the Project MC Coordinator and the Local MC Inspector.

·      Conduct team meetings and reviews.

·      Report progress of project to SPS Project MC Coordinator as required

·      Prepare MC reports and manuals in accordance with procedures, as MC Dossier, with punch lists etc, and Despatch Dossier.

·      Cooperate with QS, QC, DCC and the Project Engineering to enable Final Delivery from Site to the Client, according to Global Procedures, Contract and Client specifications.

·      Cooperate with Engineering regarding the Master Equipment List.

Qualifications and experience

• Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant business experience
• Experience in Mechanical Completion, Quality Assurance or other relevant practice
• Good computer skills. Shall be familiar with standard Microsoft tools, preferably knowledge with the SAP system or other PLM system
• Familiar with the Oil Companies business and equipments
