Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Facilities Engineer – Asset Reliability Engineer located in Bangkok, Thailand through December 15, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:1. Provides technical knowledge and lesson learned in reliability and maintenance areas of the equipment to support the asset team in both day-to-day operation and the offshore facilities related project. 2. Provides technical expertise in equipment failure analysis, maintenance philosophy, reliability opportunity identification including Worst Actor Identification and Resolution (WIR) and Opportunity Identification and Resolution (OIR) to improve reliability and maintainability of the equipments under offshore operation.3. Works with Principle Investigator (PI) on the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Investigation of the equipment failure at the offshore facilities to identify the system root cause and identify the mitigation to prevent a recurrent failure and performs a role of QA/QC in the approval flow of the RCA Investigation.4. Takes a role of a focal point with REG partners, both internal and external CTEP organization (i.e., SERI, MCP, ETC) on all Reliability Improvement Opportunities and Tools.5. Generates a monthly Asset Reliability Performance Report (ARPR) to monitor the reliability status of the equipment at each offshore facility.Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferable in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.Knowledge in the maintenance of both rotating and static equipments, preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) strategies. Petrochemical or Oil Refinery or Offshore Oil and Gas maintenance experience is highly preferable.5+ years' relevant industrial experienceGood command of spoken and written EnglishGood computer skill Thai National
