Supervise the day to day operations by liaising with the Rigsite Drilling Supervisors providing them with technical advice, ensuring that requirements needed for the rig operations are timely and effectively satisfied.
Review programs and procedures for drilling, workover and completion. Quality check cost estimates, ensure that risks are identified and appropriate measures are in place.
Coordinate the services provided by Contractors in accordance with the planned activities and the logistic aspect.
Supervise contractor services and proactively emphasize service quality enhancement.
Enquire on well problems in order to understand causes and evolution; provide advice and detailed contingency program on most effective solutions and corrective actions, to approve by Group Drilling Manager.
Acknowledge and verify the drilling, testing, completion or abandonment programs with the aim of ensuring that all the necessary resources (services, materials and equipment) are requested, procured and are available for the scope.
Collect, verify and distribute well reports; cooperate with the Well Operations Engineering discipline for the preparation of the end of activity report.

Coordinate with Well Operations Engineering discipline in preparing detailed work programs (including listing of the materials/equipment required for their implementation) to be executed at rig site: ensure that detaile3d programs are shared/agreed upon with contractors involved in the execution.
Monitor the implantation of the risk reducing measures; take immediate actions to safeguard personnel, assets, and environment in case of emergencies relat4ed to the well construction operations.
Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or Sciences
Knowledge of testing/completion issues for productive wells
Experience with drilling through loss circulation zones
Familiar with IADC codes and API standards
H2S Basic Course
Must possess a valid IWCF Well Control certificate or equivalent.
A valid medical certificate
At least 12 years experience in Drilling, Workover & Completion Engineering with the last 3 years spent on land rig operations
Strong team player in a multidiscipline environment
Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English language
