The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok, Thailand or other major city in the Eastern Hemisphere, and will report directly to the VP – Operations East Region for WGPPS.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for overall project management in the execution of all PPS contractual obligations. This includes working to develop strategies, manage solutions and ensure continuous improvement to ensure customer satisfaction; management of care, custody and control scope of power plants per contractual obligations; and management of financial performance of contracts.
Supervisory Relations
This position reports directly to the Vice President, Operations – East Region for PPS and requires regular communication with facility owners, their representatives and other customers as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead overall project management in the execution of all PPS deals to ensure all customer expectations are met with respect to the delivery of PPS products and services in the region.
Ensure that each PPS operated facility is operated and maintained in a safe and
environmentally responsible manner.
Provide supervision and leadership to each Facility Manager. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for the Facility Management to ensure appropriate skill sets are maintained. This includes the implementation and scheduling of training programs that cover operations, maintenance, safety, and regulatory areas.
Become familiar with the O&M Agreements for each facility and ensure that the terms of each agreement are followed and satisfied. Ensure all reports and information required under the terms of the O&M contract are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
Support PPS policy development and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and commercial commitments.
Implement programs and activities that provide for a work environment that promotes
effective goal accomplishment, productivity, and morale.
Establish regular communications with facility owners to discuss plant performance and problem resolution. Schedule periodic meeting with facility owners as per the O&M Agreements.

Education / Experience
A four-year degree or commensurate experience is required as well as a demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement.
A minimum of ten year's relevant experience, with a minimum of eight years in a plant or corporate management position.
A thorough demonstrated understanding of project management and power plant operations, including a working knowledge of the operations & maintenance functions.
A thorough, demonstrated knowledge of energy facility operations, O&M contracts and
management methods are necessary to control and improve the business.
A working knowledge of chemistry as it relates to plant operations as well as environmental and water treatment programs and statutory regulations.
Understand budgets, bid proposals contract evaluation and basic accounting principals, plant economics and power pool operations.
Analyzes and interprets data to make sound professional judgments and recommendations. Ability to manage and motivate subordinates.
Job Requirements
Extensive travel in the Asia Pacific area is required to meet with Plant Management and Owner Representatives. Valid Passport and ability to obtain work permits is required.
Ability to do walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping and lifting (up to 75 pounds).
