- To be responsible for the supervision and control of all project administration/financial aspects related to Capex, major turnkey, and rebillable Contracts.
Key Job accountabilities
- To supervise and coordinate the whole forecasting process (in accordance with month end timetable) of the projects, lease and services groups. - To set special administrative procedures for specific contracts (eg reimbursable, joint ventures). - To prepare, consolidate and revise quarterly forecasts (based on IFRS standards and projects information) of the operating plan. - To supervise cost control reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly) cross checking coherence and accuracy between forecast reporting and accounting figures. - To provide support to financial reporting team by doing review of the monthly reporting package, joint venture quarterly BOD, etc.. - To supervise organize training and regular meetings with cost controllers and project accountants, team. - To liaise and co-ordinate with sister companies SBM KL, GUSTO and SBM Atlantia - To provide with worldwide support to construction sites for projects and to shore bases for lease operations. - To act as Project Manager of the 'e-Financial Solutions' developments and coordinate review/improvements/implementation of IT tool systems. - To assist in development of Working Procedures (WP's) & Departmental Work Instructions (DWI's) for the Offshore Group Management System. - To prepare quarterly review with external auditors, prepare documentation. - To ensure that procedures and controls are in place as per internal control requirements/processes. - To ensure that an accurate financial information is made available for the bid proposals (Preliminary Contract Questionnaires) - To prepare quarterly report related to New Orders, Contracts in progress & Current bids for Swiss B.O.D. - To prepare specific reports at Cost control Manager or partner(s) request
Your profile
Education: Business School, Bac+5 financial / accounting related degree. Experience (functions, duration): 8 to 10 years in cost control with a first successful supervision experience (minimum 10/15 people in the team) in an international environment preferably in oil and gas business. Specific competencies (knowledge or know-how) which are a key factor for the position.
