For our client, a global engineering company working in the Oil and Gas industry, we are looking for a Construction Engineer for a period of 7 months to work on projects in Russia.

As Construction Engineer you will be responsible for timely issuing of all construction document deliverables on basis of project demands, comprising: Scope of work, Construction specifications, HSE plan, Construction planning, Site establishment plan. You will be in charge of controlling the home office hour’s budget and will keep track of changes in execution and/or specifications. You will make sure that all site necessities in terms of IT-equipment, and software (PDS- smart plant review, progress measurement system, and progress record sheets) are timely prepared. Furthermore you will coordinate the interdisciplinary engineering and hardware deliverables to subcontractors.
Function Requirements
General Tasks Is aware and cares for Health, Safety & Environmental aspects during daily actions, and drives HSE performance throughout project and or internal/ external services activities. • Timely issue of all construction document deliverables on basis of project demands, comprising: Scope of work, Construction specifications, HSE plan, Construction planning, Site establishment plan. • Control of the home office hours budget. Keep track of changes in execution and/or specifications. • Timely preparation of all site necessities in terms of IT-equipment, and software (PDS- smart plant review, progress measurement system, and progress record sheets). • Interdisciplinary coordination of the engineering and hardware deliverables to subcontractors.
Specific Tasks • Execute constructability reviews in a structured manner; attend model review meetings. • Liaise with all engineering disciplines to receive the input for Construction documents. • Report monthly progress of work towards project manager. • Establish detailed construction planning. • Prepare scope of work packages for tendering. • Issue construction specifications. • Establish Construction HSE plan, RI&E when required. • Review Subcontractors bids and prepare technical bid evaluation. • Participate in tender evaluations and Subcontract award processes. • Prepare Subcontract award meetings. • Follow-up the developments of procurement and hardware deliveries to construction sites. • Keep track of the deliveries of engineering documents to the construction subcontractors; follow if Company is adhering to their contractual obligations towards subcontractor. • Review subcontractor’s documents, in the preparation phase of construction.
Education and Experience: Education HND/BSc Mechanical/Civil/Steel Engineering Work experience 2-5 years Language English and preferably Russian
