Aker Solutions’ Workover Technology & Concepts team based in Fornebu, is an innovative, dynamic and highly competent R&D team that creates future technology for advanced subsea systems on depths down to 3000 meters. We are now looking for creative and talented individuals who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage team responsible for product innovation, concepts studies, and support to tenders
Assist in developing product portfolio to match the market requirements
Develop pre-projects and hand over to R&D project team
Interface with customers at regular meetings, present documentation professionally both visually and verbally
Understand customer requirements, foresee problems and opportunities
Understand technical specifications, requirement documentation, and gap analysis
Interface with other work packs as required on larger project, field developments
Maintain a solid understanding of the workover key systems, including developments from suppliers, future requirements from customers, and industry trends
Education and Experience:
Degree in Engineering (PhD/MSc/BSc)
Preferably 3+ years engineering experience from subsea or offshore projects
Knowledge of workover systems and their modes of operation
Leadership experience
Line management experience is preferable
Personal Qualities:
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Thriving in creating good people and teams’ processes
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative, within a team environment
Proactive, ’can do’ problem solving mentality
