Job Details: Competence Assessors & Verifiers

Job Description

Conduct competence assessment, verification and coaching of assessors and technicians in all disciplines in the

North Sea and at a number of overseas locations.

Experience

Successful applicants with proven Competence Assessor / Verifier skills will have worked in oil and gas production

and/or maintenance and will be able to:

• Develop assessment plans

• Assess by all methods available

• Judge evidence and make assessment decisions

• Provide feedback and support to candidates

• Contribute to internal quality assurance processes

• Liaise with others involved in assessment process

• Provide reports to Training & Competence Adviser

• Meet and exceed assessment targets

• Maintain client relations

• Maintain accurate records

• Able to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

National or industry standard Assessor/Verifier qualified - A1, V1, L9DI/LD11 or equivalent

Recognised apprenticeship or tertiary education to HNC level in relevant discipline

Experience of supervising process, electrical, instrument or mechanical trades is essential

Experience in drilling operations and maintenance is highly desirable
