Job Details: Cfd Engineer

The CFD department based at Arnhem in the Netherlands is responsible for the CFD activities. We are now looking for a Senior CFD engineer to strengthen our CFD team. You will work in an international environment with highly experienced colleagues.

 The CFD engineer is an excellent position for a motivated candidate, with a master degree, approximately 3 to 5 years relevant CFD experience, aiming for a career in a leading international enterprise. Typical work tasks include, but are not limited to, the following

CFD related tasks: 
• In conjunction with the (Senior) Process Engineer, the timely and efficient preparation of quotations in accordance with the appropriate codes, standards and specifications as defined by the clients requirements. 
• In conjunction with the Senior Process Engineer and/or Sales Manager make sure that the Terms and Conditions of a purchase order are acceptable. 
• Promote the products to clients by written communication, meetings, conferences and / or seminars etc. 
• Prepare all required process calculations and designs required for upcoming projects. 
• Prepare project definitive process calculations, drawings and documents where appropriate Prepare CFD documents and calculations according to FMC- or international standards Provide after sales process support to the customers. 
• Commercialize and/or perform computational fluid dynamics studies for customers. 
• Review possibilities for improvements in the CFD department. 
• Be a teacher and an example for all CFD Engineers.

Technology related tasks: 
• Assist in design of test installations. 
• The preparation of CFD simulations for the Test hall (Technology).
