Objective / Purpose of the position:Develop solutions with the customers to meet the customer and regulatory requirements incorporating Drilling Technologies, Inc. equipment and technology for After Sales, Spare Parts, Overhaul and Training.   • Establish contact with customers and work towards developing creative engineered solutions, specifications and layouts with customers Engineering, Operations and Executive staff.

Physical Requirements:

§         Typically sits 4+ hours per day

§         Regularly operates computer equipment

§         Frequently moves about facility

§         Regional and International travel. Travel is estimated to be 30-40%.

 

Education/Experience

 

§         BA/BS in related field preferred, or equivalent years experience

§         Generally 5+ years experience

§         Knowledge of deepwater offshore drilling equipment and systems.

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCY

§         Ability to independently establish work tasks in order to successfully meet expectations

§         Increased proficiency with applicable software applications

§         Solid analytical and problem solving skills

§         Provides relevant and specific expertise to diagnose, investigate and overcome problems

§         Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are critical

§         Ability to understand and communicate contract terms and condition is critical. Involved in negotiations with limited scope

§         Frequent and consistent interface with departmental staff to upper management within client organization is critical. Continuing to build relationships with key decision makers for future business opportunities
