Develop solutions with the customers to meet the customer and regulatory requirements incorporating Drilling Technologies, Inc. equipment and technology for After Sales, Spare Parts, Overhaul and Training.
Job Responsibilities:
Must have proficient functional understanding of drilling systems and drilling equipment related to state of the art offshore drilling systems for fixed, floating structures and land drilling rigs
Ability to evaluate customer needs, understand applications and work closely with customer to promote solutions solving the defined needs
Establish contact with customers and work towards developing creative engineered solutions, specifications and layouts with customers Engineering, Operations and Executive staff.
Liaise with internal departments and other divisions of Drilling Technologies, Inc. to determine, lead and develop proposals, costs, and scope of work, while following-up to ensure that customer needs and expectations are set and met in a timely manner
Be the Contract liaison with the costumer to monitor, assure and document Client Satisfaction.
Conduct technical presentations to existing and potential customer’s Engineering, Operations, Upper Management/Executive staff and or public events
Experience with and ability to negotiate and finalize contractual agreements (Terms and conditions, etc. according to the Aker Solutions contracting guidelines) Maintain good relations and intelligence related to the existing account portfolios present status and projected objectives and be able to develop new accounts by establishing BD relations, understand the accounts need and present Aker Solutions product and services. Generate call reports, and give feedback on potential prospects and into our (Network and or CRM) relevant databases.
Relay and utilize competitive information, new market technology requirements, and product/package requirements in order to improve our overall business

§ Typically sits 4+ hours per day

§ Regional and International travel. Travel is estimated to be 30-40%.
Education/Experience
§ BA/BS in related field preferred, or equivalent years experience
§ Generally 5+ years experience
§ Knowledge of deepwater offshore drilling equipment and systems.

§ Increased proficiency with applicable software applications
§ Solid analytical and problem solving skills
§ Provides relevant and specific expertise to diagnose, investigate and overcome problems

§ Ability to understand and communicate contract terms and condition is critical. Involved in negotiations with limited scope
§ Frequent and consistent interface with departmental staff to upper management within client organization is critical. Continuing to build relationships with key decision makers for future business opportunities
